The attorneys at the Storay Advocacy Group, P.A. are licensed to practice all areas of the law throughout the State of Florida. Our primary focus is to help our clients in the legal matters that hit closest to home – and heart. We provide affordable legal access to individuals residing in Brandon, Tampa, and surrounding areas within the following practice areas:

Family Law

Nothing is worse than the feeling that your family is being torn apart. Divorce, paternity issues, custody and child support modifications – sometimes it can all feel like too much when you try to go at it alone because you don’t think you can afford quality legal services. SAG is here to change that. We help our clients with the following common family law legal concerns:

  • Filing for Divorce
  • Contested Divorce
  • High Conflict Divorce
  • Marital Settlement Agreements
  • Petitioning for Paternity
  • Initiation of Child Support
  • Child Support Modifications
  • Child Custody Arrangements
  • Time Sharing Agreements
  • Child Custody Modifications
  • Post-Divorce Modifications
  • Spousal Support and Alimony
  • Domestic Violence Injunctions
  • Adoption Proceedings

Estate Planning and Probate

Planning your estate is an important aspect of every adult life – not just seniors – and there is more to estate planning than wills and trusts. We also aid our clients in documentation of living wills, durable power of attorney, healthcare surrogates, formal and summary administration, and guardianship administration. Our help also goes beyond the passing of a loved one by helping you navigate through probate proceedings in order to transfer funds and property into your name or to carry out the desires of your loved ones will.

Part of estate planning includes guardianship administration, who will care for your minor children should you pass away before they become of legal age but there are other aspects of guardianship we help families plan for. This includes filing for legal guardianship after your disabled child turns 18 and planning for their future.

Personal Injury

Our practice frequently assists in handling negotiated settlements and trial proceedings during personal injury accidents such as slip and falls on commercial or residential properties and auto accidents. Trying to receive adequate compensation from the neglectful party’s insurance can be difficult when the insurance company’s attorneys attempt to hinder you every step of the way. With our legal guidance we can help you retrieve the compensation you are owed.

Many people may believe that filing for bankruptcy is admitting defeat in life – or at least in managing finances; however, filing for Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy can also be beneficial in getting your financial freedom back on track. When you are weighed down by credit cards and personal debt, sometimes the best thing to do is to seek absolution from your financial responsibility to that debt or negotiate more favorable and affordable terms of repayment.
